The Caleb Greenwood PTSO is a collaborative of parents, teachers and administrators at our school. The primary purpose of the PTSO is twofold: to provide a communication link between the parents and staff at the school, and to offer a vehicle for funding enrichment programs for our students. The time and energy devoted by PTSO members makes the difference between an average educational experience and a superior one. In recent years, the PTSO has been responsible for bringing art, music and technology to our Caleb Community.

Art to Remember: Help turn our student art
into lasting memories while supporting art education at Caleb;
runs in the Fall! CHAIR NEEDED!
Family Bingo: This fun-filled evening is a
highlight of the year for our students; usually held in the
spring! Check back for the date.
Box Tops: Develop fun and exciting ways to
collect Box Tops from Caleb families. Count, group, and turn them
in for money to support our various enrichment programs.
Caleb Cares Committee: Assist Caleb
families that are faced with unexpected hardships throughout the
Family Dance Committee: Another family fun
event for our students and their families. Check back for

Fall Festival: A community-centered Caleb
tradition; always a favorite a success! Date to be announced
Hospitality: Coordinate welcome events for
Back-to-School and new students!
Jog-A-Thon: Volunteers are always welcome for
this major school-wide fundraiser and event. Held in October,
date to be announced!
Kinder Recruitment Committee: Responsible
for coordinating four ‘open houses’ designed to introduce
prospective families to our school, the chair and committee will
also organize and execute our Kinder Breakfast. CHAIR
Library: Help your child’s class in the
library on their assigned day and/or help re-shelf books.
Passive Fundraising: Organize the various
community business Scrip and fundraising programs and monthly
dinners with local restaurants.
Read-A-Thon: Love all things literacy? Then
join our chairs to make Caleb’s Read-A-Thon a success! Check back

School Garden: Help organize planting,
watering, maintaining, weeding, and harvesting of the school’s
Spring Auction: Join our Auction Committee
in planning and executing our excited annual adult-only

Staff Appreciation Week: Spoil our amazing
Caleb Greenwood staff during Fall & Winter conferences, and
throughout a week in May! CHAIR NEEDED!
Wellness Committee: Because we value the
health and wellness of our students at Caleb Greenwood, a
Wellness Committee was formed in 2012 in order to create a
wellness policy for our school that would establish a healthy and
nurturing learning environment for all students. The work of our
Wellness Committee is ongoing, and interested parents and
teachers are always welcome to join.
Yearbook: Coordinate the sale of our annual
yearbook! CO-CHAIR NEEDED!
Website/IT: Get the word out about our school
and PTSO events on our website and social media sites. NO
programming skills needed, content management system works like
Microsoft Word. Easy to use interface where information is
updated or copied. IT support will be given to handle
questions as they popup.
