In recognition of International Day of Families, and our focus on the IB learner profile attribute of Balanced in the month of May, families are welcome to come eat lunch with their children on campus on Friday, May 23rd. Depending on your child’s lunch schedule (see below), plan to arrive ten minutes early to park, check in as a visitor and get settled before students are dismissed for lunch. Please access the campus at the cafeteria gate on Carlson, not the front door – Thank You.

Kinder will be the only families to meet their students at their child’s classroom. All families in other grades, please meet your children out on the play yard for outdoor lunch. Don’t forget to bring a blanket and bagged lunch!

Also, in recognition of International Day of Families we are extending our Día Family Literacy Action Project to donate board books for families at UC Davis NICU. You can virtually donate a book through our collaboration with Wild Sisters Book Company by clicking HERE! Our goal is to donate 200 books by the end of May for a school-wide extra recess. Thank you for helping nurture a child’s love of reading!

Please consider inviting other students (whose families might not be able to make to campus) to join you on your blanket as they eat their lunches. ♥️
