Good evening, Caleb families,  

Beginning tomorrow, you and your child will receive a Daily Distance Learning Engagement Survey. Teachers will post this survey daily as an assignment in Google Drive for either your child or you to complete. With the exception of tomorrow, the survey will be posted daily at 8am and you will have until 11pm to complete it. Tomorrow your child’s teacher may post the assignment a bit later as I just shared this information with them today, so they will need some time to prepare before assigning it.  Your daily response to the survey is how we will monitor engagement in distance learning, take attendance and address your needs. Your child will receive the survey each day as a new assignment and it will need to be completed each and every school day through the end of the school year. 

Additionally, I will be sending a Family Survey to gather your thoughts about how Distance Learning is going for your family. You will receive that via email blast sometime tomorrow. Please take a moment to complete this in addition to the daily engagement survey. 

Please also be sure to check out our site-wide Google Classroom, code gx7cu44, which Mrs. Cordero has been updating regularly with activities for PE, Art, Music, Spanish, Service and more. Unfortunately, despite our best efforts, the intentions of our PTSO and the wishes of our teachers, we are not able to fund our Music and Art positions for the remainder of the year, so neither Mrs. Fitzpatrick or Mrs. Jacobsen, will be posting activities, however we do look forward to getting back to music and art with them in the fall!
