Día Literacy Event
Read, read, read!

Event

WHAT IS DIA? El día de los ninos/El día de los libros (Children’s Day/Book Day), commonly known as Día, is a celebration every day of children, families, and reading. The celebration emphasizes the importance of literacy for children of all linguistic and cultural backgrounds. It is a daily commitment to linking children and their families to diverse books, languages, and cultures.

WHAT IS THE DIA READING CELEBRATION? During the week of March 13th – 17th we celebrate reading and literacy with daily school-wide activities.

WHAT IS THE DIA READING CHALLENGE FUNDRAISER? As part of our continued commitment to building a culture of reading and Action here at Caleb, we are excited to announce our upcoming Dia Reading Challenge Fundraiser! The Día Reading Challenge will begin on March 6th and end on March 24th. During the challenge, we’re encouraging each student to read at least 20 minutes a day to help us raise $5,000 for the Action Center Library! The readathon will help us fund even more books students love for the Action Center! The more you read and raise, the closer we’ll get to our goal of $5,000 for Action Center Library books!
