Good evening, Caleb families! This week’s Cougar Video Message and IB PYP Newsletter are up on our website. This week, you’ll also want to visit our Distance Learning Resources under the “News” tab. There you can find the classroom code for Coach Schranz’s Caleb PE Fun Google Classroom where you can find our weekly RUNGO challenge. Kids complete a row each week and turn in on Coach Schranz’s Google Classroom to earn a green foot to add to their collection. 

Under Distance Learning Resources, you can also find the Google Classroom codes for IB PYP, music and art. You’ll definitely want to check out this week’s IB PYP Newsletter, also on our website. This week, with our focus on being Thinkers, we encourage you to have family discussions about voting… our rights and responsibilities, why our vote matters and how our values and beliefs help us make choices about who and what we vote for. Mrs. Cordero has even put together a Virtual Library all about Voting, with read alouds for kids of all ages, which you can find in this week’s IB PYP newsletter on our website. And while you’re at it, be sure to fill out those ballots and get them in ASAP! 

Before you leave our website, please click on the Emergency Card link to complete one form for EACH of your children, then take a moment to ensure our schools are properly funded by completing the Local Control Funding Formula form for your family. 

On Wednesday, enjoy takeout and earn money for PTSO and IB by participating in our fundraising dinner at Panda Express at 5801 Folsom Boulevard. Show the flier from our website on your phone or enter 317190 in the promo code box when you order online at order.pandaexpress.com. The fundraiser runs all day, from 10:30am to 8:30pm. 

This week, we’re also starting a new IB PYP unit, so keep an eye out in our Google Classrooms for clues about our theme and central idea.
